As many people have their eyes on other things at the moment – the soccer World Cup or preparing for a holiday season, or just taking some well-earned vacation, it is perhaps understandable that the recent release of the latest version of Oracle Intelligent Advisor -22D – slipped out of the stable recently without much ceremony.
There are a couple of new features that certainly enrich the already strong service-related features in Oracle Intelligent Advisor. These are
- The ability now to create a Fusion Service Case object through an Oracle Intelligent Advisor 22D interview. Case Management is essentially the ability to associate a household or a person with a long-running (sometimes lifelong) object which becomes the parent object for all the different service requests, incidents and other interactions with a government agency or with many agencies. We can think of it as a “Case File” which contains the long-running history of all the different things that has brought a family into contact with agencies for example. So if you look carefully on this page in the documentation you will see Case has been added. From the end user perspective, creating a Case using an interview looks a little like this example.
- In line with the fast pace of innovation revealed in the recent limited-availability release of the new Flow Service API and the new world of custom renderers, it is exciting to see that Flows created in this way can now be used in Visual Builder. After installing the Flow component from your Component Exchange, you can work with them. The documentation explains how to build the action flow in Visual Builder and authenticate to use the Flow.
Innovation continues apace with the product and there is no doubt 2023 is going to be a stunning year for Oracle Intelligent Advisor!
