These functions include support for a new data type concept and additional functions to support it, as well as adjustments in the mapping with Oracle Policy Modeling.
Customers who have already purchased the Decision Services Training will automatically have access to this new module, no further cost is involved. Decision Services are a new and evolving subject, and of course you can find some information in the online documentation. Consultants would be well advised to keep abreast of what they can do for several reasons – firstly, they can provide new ways of keeping track of externalised variables and keeping discrete functions outside of Oracle Policy Modeling. And secondly, of course, in the longer term, the platform that runs Decision Services will be used for many other purposes – so make sure you keep watching the evolution of the product every quarter!
