What with all the different things going on at the moment – both personally and professionally – for most people right now, I realize that it is not always easy to find the time to read lots of articles about Intelligent Advisor, even if we all know that there are cool new features that have arrived and we should be investing time into those subjects.
With that in mind we have created a short video which covers most of the main subjects of the first two posts we made on this topic – Hub Authoring in Intelligent Advisor. The ability to create decision services directly in the Hub web page and to benefit from the same concepts as in Oracle Policy Modeling – debugging, editing and rule assistant to name just a few things – is a game changer and has the potential to introduce Intelligent Advisor into lots more customers and lots more usage scenarios which is great for the community and great for the product.

This first video walks through the process of getting started, creating a simple rule, then continues to build a calculation, a table and to use the inputs and outputs to build a contract; and of course we get to test it along the way, using the cool new live debugger on the server. Finally we deploy the service and look ahead to the next chapter where we will discover Object Lists.
So if you are short on time but want to see Hub Authoring (online help) in action, this video is for you. We posted it directly to our Youtube Channel but you can also just watch it right here in the viewer at the bottom of the post. We have a couple of other videos lined up so don’t hesitate to come back for more in the coming days.

You can catch all the articles in this series about Hub Decision Service Authoring here : read part one, part two and part three.
