Just before Oracle CloudWorld 2022 our annual survey taking stock of the Oracle Intelligent Advisor “Nation” closed for respondents. We don’t of course pretend that our Oracle Intelligent Advisor State of the Nation survey results are authoritative, we do however suggest that the tendencies we see are probably reflecting those seen in the wider world.
This year we were delighted to have many respondents and in particular to see a rich spread of software, hardware and integration choices. So, with all that information to share with you, this article will simply pick out a couple of key points and the rest of the information can be viewed in the video that is shown below. Surveys like this one rely upon the good nature and helpfulness of the community. This year we had a much lower number of spam survey respondents. We try to ensure that only valid data is in this extraction report, but we would sincerely ask that if you do not intend to give useful answers or you intend to be insulting (by the way, who are you trying to insult, SurveyMonkey?) then don’t bother.
On a more positive note, the 2022 survey results revealed several areas where we are willing to help, but we need more information from you. Watch the short video at the end of the article to find out more. Now on to a couple of points that stood out:
Survey Results Prevalence of version 12
Version 12 seems to be more prevalent outside of the United States. This is the version 12 spread – notice that United States is behind Europe and Asia, and level with Oceania.

Another thing that struck us when reading back through the survey results data was the sheer variety of applications within the Version 12 space, definitely proof that the Web Service architecture of the Connector has enabled lots of customers to bring the power of Oracle Intelligent Advisor to different CX and other applications.
