Oracle Certification announced the release of the new certification shown above that has the reference number 1Z0-1035-20. If you are reading this in 2022, the new reference is the same, just ending in “-22”. The official page of the certification can be found on the Oracle website.

There are no study guides, no practice exams available. The Introduction to Policy Automation 12 course (1 day)  or the Oracle Policy Modeling for Policy Experts(3 days) are still available for those wishing to get trained before taking 1Z0-1035,  but from my perspective as an experienced consultant and trainer, they may not be the best use of your time.

They are useful introductions but if you are aiming for knowledge of collaboration features, the OIA Hub and project administration using Inclusions, REST APIs and so on, they are not worth it  – because they are not covered in these courses, which are devoid of practical examples beyond very simple rules. I’m not criticizing the content of the courses – they are perfect for a certain population, just not for this certification or for a full picture.
