We’re running out of ways to say that the new version is available – it’s on the shelves, in the bag, under starters orders, whichever way you look at it, the remorseless rhythm of updates means that 23A is with us.
This first release of 2023 includes some useful new features for Fusion Sales and Service users. Whats New?
Whats New in Oracle Intelligent Advisor 23A?
- Transcripts
You can now opt for display values rather than just value list values to be in the transcript. If you are not sure what a transcript is, read our detailed article. The new feature requires either a compatibility file setting or an interview.fetch call to transcript, specifying a version of “12.2.30”.
- New Objects for Mapping in Sales and Service
As well as the recently added Interaction object (think of that object as representing a thread of conversation covering all channels) there is now an Interview object, home for your mapped out transcripts and checkpoints.
- New Excel Format for Forms in 23A
Now there are two format choices for your generated Forms as far as Excel is concerned – Excel (xlsx) and Excel (97-2003). The (xlsx) format becomes the default and will be switched when you upgrade a project that used the old setting. Good news for people who want the latest most compatible Excel format for their forms.
- Decision Services in 23A
You can now consume decision services via the Oracle Integration Cloud Intelligent Advisor Adaptor. You can now create an outbound endpoint to call the Decision Service from Oracle Integration. And if you don’t know what a Decision Service and why it is about to become more important in your OIA life, catch our Decision Services training course amongst our current training offerings.
Time marches on and Oracle Intelligent Advisor gets better every version. If you didn’t catch all the other new stuff in recent releases check out our collection of Whats New pages.
